Omega unveiled new Seamaster Planet Ocean 43.5 mm GMT at Baselworld 2016. It is  the world’s premiere polished bi-ceramic black and white bezel.

The special bezel separates night from day, with numerals and scaling in contrasting ceramic colours. Further brightness is provided by the dot at 12 o’clock in white Super-LumiNova.Front of Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 43.5 mm GMT
White Super-LumiNova is also used for the hands of the polished black ceramic [ZrO2] dial. For optimal legibility in low light,  the hour, seconds and GMT hands have blue emission while the minute hand has green emission.

If you compare the dial of the GMT model with other Planet Ocean models, you will notice that the dial of the GMT does not feature the “Professional” inscription. This is due to the fact that, in order to be used for the GMT function, the bezel is bi-directional and not uni-directional as imposed on professional diver’s watches by the ISO 6425 standard.Side of Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 43.5 mm GMT 02
The 43.50 mm x 17.04 mm stainless steel case houses the Master Chronometer Calibre 8906, a 3.5 Hz (25,200 vph) self-winding movement officially certified by METAS, the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology. The movement is resistant to 15,000 gauss magnetic fields and offers a power reserve of 60 hours thanks to two barrels mounted in series. The movement is visible through the  sapphire crystal case back.

Thanks to the screw-in crown and the helium escape valve at 10 o’clock, the Planet Ocean 43.5 mm GMT is water resistant to 60 bar / 600 metres / 2000 feet.
