1 Gucci: Signature Necklace from The Flora Collection
Part of the Kering Group, Gucci Jewelry showcased a new fine jewellery line called ‘Flora’ at Couture 2015. Little gold hearts set with a single diamond dangle from Gucci’s iconic horsebit clasp, while pavé diamond butterflies, and dainty flowers in white enamel and diamonds (total weight of 5.12 carats) make the necklace sparkle in white and pink 18-karat gold. Gucci made the Couture Show feel like a colorful garden this year, with flowers in every shape and hue seen. Naturally, flora attracts butterflies and they were plenty in diamonds, fluttering around.
2 Buccelati: Black Gold Cuff Watch
An addition to the Italian jeweler’s Unique and Precious collection, the Black Gold Cuff Watch uses an exclusive DLC (Diamond-Like-Carbon) coating treatment to change the original color of the gold to black. The metal takes on an anthracite color, resulting in a striking contrast with the watch face which is surrounded by diamonds. Necklaces which can be worn as bracelets, rings that become pendants and various ways to way the same pair of earrings. Versatility was a noticeable trend at the show.
3 Roberto Coin: Unique Bull from Animalier Collection
The Animal Kingdom has been a great source of inspiration to many a designer. And, jewellers at Couture continued to showcase animals in precious pearls, sparkling diamonds and coloured stones. Orange sapphires and onyx are set in rose gold and white satin gold to create this unique ring. The Vicenza-based Italian jeweler reinterprets the grand success of nature’s secrets breathing life into them through extraordinary details.
4 Autore: Orange Blossom Cuff from the Orchid Collection
The bangle won the ‘Best Pearl Design’, for Autore Group from Australia, at the much-awaited annual Couture Design Awards 2015. White diamonds (92 pcs) totaling 0.905 carats, yellow diamonds (634 pcs) with a total weight of 6.832 carats, and rare green diamonds (169 pcs) totaling 2.421 carats are set in 57.02grams of 18k Yellow Gold with South Sea Pearl Keshi pearls and a Gold South Sea Pearl of 12mm size. Australian native orchids inspired this piece.
5 Chopard: Haute Joaillerie Paraiba Ring
