At the beginning of 2016, on occasion of the SIHH, A. Lange & Söhne unveiled elegant Saxonia Thin model with new proportions for dial and case.
In addition to the 40 mm version showcased at the event, the pink or white gold Saxonia Thin is now available in a 37 mm size. The reduced case maintains a thickness of 5.9 mm which makes the Saxonia Thin the smallest model of the entire A. Lange & Söhne collection.
The elegant two-hand A. Lange & Söhne watch features a minimalist dial with baton-style hour markers in solid gold which have been slightly extended and moved closer to the bezel compared to the previous version of the model. As a result, the argenté-coloured solid-silver dial has even more prominence.
Just like the 40 mm version, the movement of choice is the hand-wound calibre L093.1 movement which is just 2.9 millimetres thick and features the Lange distinctive traits, including the German-silver three-quarter plate decorated with Glashütte ribbing, solarised winding-train wheels, three screwed gold chatons and a hand-engraved balance cock.
