Luxe Watches has been trading in contemporary and luxury pre-owned watches since 2011. We launched with the aim of opening up the wholesale market and helping our customers get the best price possible for luxury watches from brands like Rolex, Cartier, Patek Philippe, and Audemars Piguet. In addition to these brands with many years of history, we also sell newer brands. SevenFriday is just a few months younger than Luxe Watches, and to commemorate our mutual 5-year anniversaries, we want to give away a SevenFriday P1-01 watch.
Before we get more into the giveaway, a bit of history about Luxe Watches. Trading began with our two directors working out of a small office in North London. We juggled buying and selling, and the office became a place where not only could we meet clients to finalise sales, but we had also built a mini photography studio so we could shoot and retouch our watches before listing our products on various resale sites. We have expertise in locating rare and exclusive pieces as well as offering a guaranteed buy-back or re-sale service for all customers.
Once our website launched in August 2012, our customers could search our product offering easily and the number of enquires grew. The past 5 years has seen us launch a retail boutique (Buckhurst Hill), a private sales and consultation suite (Knightsbridge), as well as continuing to operate online to a global market. Each site serves a specific client base and it has been exciting to be able to expand so quickly.
Much of our time in running the business is spent traveling and visiting watch and jewelry trade shows. We see so many watch brands that it really takes quite a lot for one to stand out. SevenFriday was one of these brands, combining bold and avant-garde designs at a price point that made the watch world stand at attention. With a similar story of expansion and growth, SevenFriday’s contemporary collection of lifestyle watches launched in June 2012 with the iconic “P” series, selling 1,000 units within 6 months, and 39,000 units within 2 years, quickly gaining fans across the globe with a focus on design and quality. We are beyond excited to support this brand as a strong player in the watch market and proving that there is always room for something different.
The SevenFriday P1-01 is a 47mm-wide square-cased watch that features circular dials. It’s been described as “bold” and “futuristic” with elements of the past like the industrial revolution. The SevenFriday P1-01 model features a polished stainless steel case, with a silver, rhodium, and black dial comprising five layers. Visible on the dial is the open balance wheel of the Miyota 82S7 movement, which has a 40-hour power reserve.
