So what better place to meet up with our friends from Hublot MEA and explore some of the special pieces they have to offer.
Hublot MEA certainly didn’t disappoint with its offerings. With two limited edition Dubai pieces, a Classic Fusion Chronograph limited to 50 pieces, and a ladies’ Big Bang with a special gem-set bezel with the colors of the U.A.E flag and matching stitching on the leather strap.
Turning it up another level are two very hard to find novelties including the mind-boggling Hublot MP-05 LaFerrari All Black, which features an automotive design conceived with the help of Ferrari engineers. Featuring a movement with a vertical tourbillon and boasting a whopping 50-day power reserve, the piece features double digit coupled barrels aligned like a car’s engine to store up all that energy. The piece is finished in PVD black titanium for a sleek aerodynamic look. The LaFerrari is a perfect example of the synergy between these two power house brands.
As the sun came down and the Dubai fountain sprang to life, we tried on a very special piece. If you’ve been living under a rock, you might’ve missed that this year is the 10th anniversary of the Big Bang. To celebrate the occasion, Hublot created an extraordinary collection of 10 unique pieces called the Big Bang “10 Years” Haute Joaillerie. We tried on the full- diamond baguette version with 653 baguette diamonds totalling 40.02 carats. Hublot has utilized three of the most complex settings, invisible, Clou de Paris, and rail—to create a jeweled time piece which, complementing the rich colors of the desert sun, create a spectacular light show.
