To all you watchlovers we have a question.We have this stunning Gübelin watch, that we dont seem to be able to get much information on. We think it is a 100 aniversary watch numbered.The watch has the specifics ” adjusted to six (6) !! Positions and two (2) temperatures ” We have not been able to find a watch adjusted to six positions as of yet. It is numbered in right upperside and has the statement Gübelin 1854-1954. Awesome watch, keeping accurate time, and large sized!Anyone? Thank you very much.Kind regards,Ted

We have just received a message from Gübelin about the watch. And it is a very rare 100 anniversary-issued 14k gold Gübelin watch of which exactly like this one only 100 were made worldwide. With adjustment to 6 positions and 2 temperatures it has chronograph quality, and the movement is by Audemars Piguet..
This is what Gübelin stated:
“This is indeed a model created to celebrate Gübelin’s 100’s anniversary. a total of 200 pieces, 100 with sweep second hand as yours, 100 with a small second hand.
The movement is a Audemars Piguet caliber VCSS, basic Valjoux 23, dial from another supplier, case made in house Gübelin atelier.”
Great! Super rare, 1954 watch.
